Engine and Performance:

Ron at RK is a renowned Track and Drag GTR specialist, 3 Times BDRA Drag Race Champion, TOTB Arabia and Time Attack Winner.

This is one of the finest examples of modified R34 GTR’s available, it’s not just a bolt on upgrade 550bhp GTR it’s a properly and well thought out built example.

The car also has service history from Abbey motorsports and Rising sun performance.

* Full engine build less than 5,000miles ago
This is not your usual 550bhp spec GTR, Ron at RK tuning has gone to town when building this engine, as the customer wanted a reliable and overly engineered engine for the power Ron recommended a forged engine with CP forged pistons and Eagle H beam con rods and Tomei/ACL race spec bearings.

Ron also installed a Trust sump which increases oil capacity to stop any oil issues when on track and is also running a JUN oil pump which is known for being one of the best oil pumps made for the GTR providing this GTR with 6bar of oil pressure when cold and 2.5-3 bar at hot idle.

Providing the power to the engine Ron recommended the HKS GT-SS twin turbos as it is primarily a road car they are well known for reliability and excellent boost response on the RB26.

Cooling side of things have been carefully thought out and using only top brand aftermarket parts, and you can see the effect when driving as the oil and water temps stay very cool (around 70 degrees when cruising).


* 550bhp but as easy to drive as a Stock R34 GTR!
Well all I can say is for such a modified GTR it’s a real treat to drive, one thing with tuned GTR’s the clutch tends to be either on or off especially with HKS items but thanks to the Nismo super copper mix twin plate and Nismo big operating cylinder it’s as easy to drive as a Stock R34 GTR .
Performance is very impressive boasting 480bhp at the wheels which equates to around 550bhp flywheel power makes for a reliable and responsive road car. Acceleration is very smooth and progressive and keeps you pressed firmly back in your seat till you let off! Boost has been set at 1.1 bar low and 1.5bar high respectively.
Brakes and handling:
TEIN superstreet with EDFC has been installed and the damping can be adjusted electronically from inside the car. On the Hardest setting the cars handling transforms and makes the car feel extremely firm and hugs the road and you can really feel the Toyo Triple 8’s digging in the road for grip, on the softest setting the car is very smooth and comfortable to drive. Overall the drive of this car is one of the nicest we have driven for a tuned road going GTR.


Exterior:
Very clean throughout, no rust scratches or dents. The previous owner maintained the car to a very high standard only treating the car to the best of everything. To improve the cars looks a set of Volk racing TE37 have been installed with Toyo triple 8 tyres with the prefect off set for the R34. As standard it comes fitted with the Carbon rear diffuser which come with the VSPEC models.

Interior:
Stock interior bar the Nismo shift know and Greddy Profec B boost controller. The stereo has been upgraded to a Pioneer AVCI-HD3 which cost £2,000 when new; it also has a bass tube and amplifier in the boot.
The MFD has been upgraded to Nismo version, overall the interior is immaculate throughout.
